Paper on Market access for Non-Agricultural Products

A paper on “Market access for Non-Agricultural Products” was presented to the AmCham Industry Committee Core Group on March 14 th, 2006. The paper gives a quick overview of the on-going negotiations on Non-Agriculture Market Access Negotiations (NAMA) in the WTO within the framework of the Doha Work Program.

In view of the discussions the Industry Committee Core Group came up with the final recommendation, which is to raise the matter with the Minister of trade and Industry H.E. Rachid Mohamed Rachid to encourage him to fight for the lowest coefficients possible for Egypt.
